Since establishing Tiny Treasures in 2007, we have been committed to supporting the primary focus of our industry ‘the Children'. Supporting the communities is a focal point of our business, where our goals are set each year with the intention of exceeding our previous year donations to areas where we believe are most needed.

December 2008 The Children's Hospital at Westmead - NSW - Donated $10,000

In December 2008 our donation of $10,000 to The Children's Hospital at Westmead in NSW was very much welcomed and appreciated by the Sydney based Children's hospital. Seeing what the hospital has accomplished, the goals that they forecast and the struggles that they meet head-on, with funding at times difficult, was remarkable. With this being our first community donation we felt was the perfect selection and that our support would be well serviced.

June 2009 Princess Margaret Hospital for Children - WA- Donated $10,000

As a major part of our business is based in Western Australia the decision was made to support the West Australian region. Our $10,000 donation went to purchasing two wheel chairs for the Oncology Unit and a blood clotting machine for the Princess Margaret Hospital Intensive Care Unit. We were kindly invited to visit the PMH to see first hand what this hospital has achieved, their vision and wishes for the next few years. To see the commitment and compassion of staff and to meet some of the volunteers who make the children's and parents' experience more bearable was absolutely overwhelming. We were left quite sombre, feeling that our donation was just not enough - could we do more?

In 2010 we ARE committed to do more! We encourage other mobile photography studios to join us to help purchase a significant item for the hospital in 2010. We will keep you updated on our progress.

August 2009 - Victorian Bush Fire Appeal - Donated $3,000

With the devastation of the bushfires earlier this year in Victoria where many lives and homes were lost, Tiny Treasures donated $3000 to the Victorian Bush Fire Appeal. Hopefully this meagre donation went to help some of those families and children that lost so much, and of which all of our thoughts are with.

Later this year we are also intending to donate to the Royal Flying Doctor Service in support of the Regional Areas of Australia.
